NBA sets schedule for championship week

Four out of the eight remaining teams will be heading to Las Vegas, looking to become the first team to lift the NBA Cup

Following the ending of the group stage of the inaugural edition of the NBA In-Season Tournament on Tuesday, the league set the schedule for the championship week.

The Quarterfinals will be played on December 4 and 5. The home-court advantage in a single-elimination affair went to the Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings, Milwaukee Bucks, and Los Angeles Lakers.

The rest of the tournament will be held in Las Vegas on December 7 and 9, concluding with the championship game to decide the first winner of the NBA Cup.

Eliminated teams

Balancing the regular-season schedule for the team no longer in the running, the NBA scheduled two games for all 22 eliminated teams during the championship week of the In-Season Tournament. Similar to the group stage, the Quarterfinals and Semifinals of the In-Season Tournament count toward the 2023-24 Regular Season. Therefore, the losing sides of the Quarterfinals will play each other on December 8.
